Plate production doubles
Every year the number of plates that have to be set rises. Reason? So many orders, of course. But also: more orders with smaller print runs. That's why Hendrix Xperience virtually doubles the plate production with a new and super-fast Fujifilm Luxel T-9800 platesetter. Good for a speed of 70 plates per hour. And this speed is totally utilised, thanks to a fully-automated pallet loader with 1200 plates and an automatic plate line. The configuration is effective and saves employees a lot of heavy lifting.

A first for An-Sofie
Digital Print Specialist An-Sofie Hendrix is the first woman in the Benelux who may call herself an HP Indigo Level 3 operator – the highest possible level. Earlier she earned the certificates for Level 1 (operation of the press and the printing per se) and Level 2 (maintenance and replacement of basic parts). By earning Level 3, An-Sofie proves that she has mastered the HP Indigo 7800 Digital Press to such an extent that she can quickly solve unexpected malfunctions.

New CTP installation
The super-fast FUJI platesetter has an output of 70 plates/hour. This capacity increase brings us up from 60 to 90 plates/hour. The CTP platesetter is also equipped with a so-called pallet loader. Now a complete pallet with no fewer than 1,200 plates can be loaded so that it is no longer necessary to manually fill cassettes, and of course this is a plus for the ergonomics of our employees. This saves time, packaging materials and supplier kilometres.
